Prices quoted are in GBP & per PROPERTY per week & NOT per person - unless otherwise stated.
The method of payment is EITHER:
(1) Sterling pounds- Cheques / bankers drafts. Bank transfers have an additional charge of MIN £25
(2) WE WILL ALSO ACCEPT EURO CHEQUE'S (PLEASE CHECK WITH SPR)
Please make PAYMENT payable to... SPANISH PROPERTY RENTALS & SALES and cross all cheques. ONLY VISA & MASTERCARD credit /debit card payments are accepted. Last minute and some overseas bookings may have to be paid by credit card only, for admin purposes
Bookings cannot be guaranteed until BOOKING DEPOSIT IS RECEIVED.
(1) A 25% BOOKING DEPOSIT is required to secure bookings IN LOW AND MID SEASON A 50% BOOKING DEPOSIT is required to secure bookings for JULY AND AUGUST, EASTER AND XMAS .
THERE IS A 2.5% CHARGE FOR CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS FOR HOTELS & ANY extra services required
NOTE: The BOOKING deposit is NON REFUNDABLE.
PAYMENT MUST BE MADE WITHIN 2 DAYS of BOOKING -PROPERTY CANNOT BE HELD WITHOUT PAYMENT. The BALANCE OF PAYMENT IS PAYABLE 8 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF ARRIVAL TO THE ACCOMMODATION or if the booking is made within this period, then the full amount together with credit card details is due at the point of booking.

SIGNING THE BOOKING FORM MEANS THE CLIENT ACCEPTS ALL THE BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS AS LAID DOWN IN THIS DOCUMENT.
(2) PROPERTIES CANNOT BE SUB-LET OR 'PASSED ON' TO OTHER PARTIES' ALL RELEVANT INFORMATION HAS TO BE DISCLOSED BEFORE BOOKING. If there are any changes to the original booking details/agreement then the contract/agreement becomes void.
(3) CLIENTS & their PERSONAL BELONGINGS WILL NOT BE COVERED BY THE PROPERTY OWNERS 'own' INSURANCE. We advise all clients to arrange travel insurance before travelling. SEE WEBSITE FOR DETAILS.
(4) LAP TOPS / PERSONAL COMPUTERS CANNOT BE USED WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION & THERE WILL BE PHONE CHARGES.
(5) ' SECURITY' is REQUIRED against telephone usage, damages, breakages, loss of keys / key card etc.
THIS IS NORMALLY COVERED BY CLIENTS CREDIT CARD DETAILS - GIVEN AT TIME OF BOOKING. KEYS WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNLESS THER IS SOME SECURITY . NO CHARGE IS MADE against the CARD - HOWEVER IF IT BECOMES NECESSARY THEN Spanish Property Rentals reserves the right to deduct payment from this credit card (WE ARE ADVISED BY THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY & THEN WE ADVISE THE CLIENT) A CASH DEPOSIT OR CHEQUE CAN BE GIVEN IF CLIENTS DO NOT WISH TO GIVE CREDIT CARD DETAILS- USUALLY AROUND £100 GBP PER HEAD BUT CAN BE MORE DEPENDING ON THE PROPERTY. THIS WILL REFUNDED IF ALL IS IN ORDER WHEN CLIENTS VACATE THE PROPERTY)
WITH SOME PROPERTIES A SECURITY DEPOSIT HAS TO BE PAID IN ADVANCE
(A) If the DEPOSIT is pre paid together with the final payment THE DEPOSIT will returned by SPR after departure, when the property has been checked.
(B) With some properties the security deposit is paid directly to our agent/ associate in Spain on arrival before the keys are handed over. The agent will returns this before departure.
(6) The lead name on the booking form is solely responsible for any damages etc incurred to the property.
IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE:
(6a ) ON DEPARTURE PLEASE LEAVE ALL PRIVATE PROPERTIES IN GOOD ORDER & REMOVE RUBBISH.
THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR ANY PROPERTIES WHICH REQUIRE EXTRA CLEANING OR LAUNDRY WHICH IS OVER AND ABOVE THE NORMAL USAGE AND ALSO IF REFUSE HAS NOT BEEN DEALT WITH APPROPRIATELY.
VERY IMPORTANT:
Should there be any problem, or if something is not working or in a proper condition on arrival to the property - please notify the contact person / company/reception as soon as possible . Please Notify SPR on return so that we have note of it. IF URGENT LET US KNOW ASAP.
Spanish Property Rentals, property owners, or Catherine Fairbairn is not responsible for any loss, damage or personal injury while staying in or at any of the rental properties.
Please use the normal security precautions while resident.
(7) Booking forms are to be filled in accurately: The private properties have a maximum occupancy - if this is not adhered to Clients will be asked to leave WITHOUT NOTICE & REFUND AND IF NECESSARY A CHARGE MADE.
For insurance purposes we must be advised of all persons under 21 years registered as staying in the apt.
All properties (except the apt/hotels) are privately owned and have a bona fide Spanish rental company and/or a property management company looking after them. You will be given a local contact name and tel number prior to departure.
(8) Change over in High Season is Saturday ONLY - Sun/mid week bookings are sometimes accepted low season.
(9) CHECK IN is AFTER 16.00 or 17.00- DEPARTURE BEFORE 10.00 or 12.00- PLEASE ASSIST in changeover times!
(10) KEYS will be either issued by Spanish Property Rentals approx 1 week before departure or collected on arrival from reception/ security, or from a local agent. The SECURITY DEPOSIT and arrangements for the KEYS will be explained before departure.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE RETURN THE KEYS TO SOURCE IMMEDIATELY after vacating the property - THERE WILL BE A CHARGE IF THERE IS A DELAY IN RETURNING KEYS. If posting -PLEASE PACK WELL & REGISTER.
(11) Cancellation charges- Based on Spanish Law regarding cancellation fees - 20th Sept 1978,
COMMERCIAL Spanish Aparthotel and hotel complexes will have a right to charge:
a) 5% of the rental cost, when cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to arrival date
b) 50% of the rental cost when the cancellation is made within 30 days and more than 7 days
c) 100% of the rental cost when the cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to arrival date
In privately owned properties (all properties which are not apt/hotels) - Will be applicable under UK Law
1) The BOOKING deposit is NON REFUNDABLE if CANCELLED.
2) NO refund if cancelled within 8 weeks/ or when the final payment is made.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be Administration charges if any booking is cancelled/amended
IMPORTANT- we advise CLIENTS TO ARRANGE SEPARATE TRAVEL & HEALTH INSURANCE - SEE OUR WEBSITE.
(12) IN THE UNFORSEEN EVENT OF A CANCELLATION MADE BY SPANISH PROPERTY RENTALS & SALES OF A BOOKING OF A PRIVATELY OWNED PROPERTY WHICH SPR IS THE SOLE AGENT - ALL MONIES PAID BY THE CLIENT WILL BE FULLY REFUNDED IF ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMODATION CANNOT BE FOUND. HOTEL ACCOMMODATION AND APT/HOTELS WILL BE DEALT WITH UNDER THE TERMS ABOVE (No11) AND AT THE DISCRETION OF THE HOTEL IN QUESTION.
VILLAS AND OTHER AGENTS PROPERTIS RENTED THROUGH SPR MAY HAVE DIFFERENT CANCELLATION POLICIES.
CLIENTS WILL BE ADVISE AT TIME OF BOOKING. |
